06/18/2014: Assailants abducted Nadiya Savchenko and imprisoned her near Shchastia, Luhansk, Ukraine. Savchenko, a Ukrainian Air Force pilot, was transferred to a Russian prison on an unknown date and released on May 25, 2016. The Luhansk People's Republic claimed responsibility for the attack.
