06/25/2014: An explosive device planted under a vehicle detonated near the Misr al-Jadidah Court in Heliopolis neighborhood, Cairo city, Cairo governorate, Egypt. Another device near the courthouse was discovered and defused. At least one person was wounded in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Muslim Brotherhood. However, the Muslim Brotherhood denied any involvement in the incidents.
