06/29/2014: Assailants opened fire on Afghan Police checkpoints in Azra district, Logar province, Afghanistan. At least 29 people, including nine officers and 20 assailants, were killed and 12 other officers and several assailants were wounded in the assault. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
