Incident Summary:

07/01/2014: Assailants attempted to kidnap Tawfiq Al-Musalmi in Sanaa city, Amanat Al Asimah governorate, Yemen. When Al-Musalmi, a journalist, resisted the attempt, he was attacked with rifle butts and a stick. Although the abduction was ultimately unsuccessful, Al-Musalmi was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
