07/02/2014: Assailants attempted to attack Afghan Border Police (ABP) battalions in Taghar area, Red district, Helmand province, Afghanistan. Seventy assailants were killed and 50 others were wounded in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
