07/03/2014: Assailants seized control of the al-Omar oilfield in Deir ez-Zor district, Deir ez-Zor governorate, Syria. At least 19 workers were abducted in the attack and were executed on August 7, 2014. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
