Incident Summary:

07/04/2014: Assailants hijacked a Saudi border patrol vehicle near Wadiah border post, Najran province, Saudi Arabia. The driver of the vehicle was killed in the hijacking. Saudi police officers then pursued the assailants, resulting in the deaths of three assailants and two officers. One assailant was also wounded. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
