07/09/2014: Assailants ambushed a military patrol near Kwamala village, Borno state, Nigeria. Three soldiers were killed and seven soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. An unknown number of assailants were also killed and injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
