Incident Summary:

07/11/2014: Assailants opened fire on a military patrol in Marantao town, Lanao del Sur province, Philippines. Two people, a soldier and an assailant, were killed and four others, two soldiers and two assailants, were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
