07/00/2014: Sometime between July 1, 2014 and July 31, 2014, assailants abducted a civilian near Rafah, North Sinai, Egypt. The hostage was released the following day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State and noted that victim was accused of being an army informant.
