Incident Summary:

07/28/2014: Assailants opened fire on residents and buildings in Katarko town, Yobe state, Nigeria. Eight people were killed and 12 others were injured in the attack. This was one of three coordinated attacks carried out by Boko Haram in Katarko town on July 28, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
