07/31/2014: An explosive device planted in a water pipeline near the Pan-American Highway detonated in Cauca department, Colombia. There were no reported casualties but the pipeline was damaged in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
