Incident Summary:

08/09/2014: Assailants kidnapped two civilians returning from a fishing trip near Ango town, Orientale province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. One of the hostages escaped later the same day while the whereabouts of the second victim are unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA).
