Incident Summary:

08/08/2014: Assailants kidnapped five civilians in Pathabari village, Sarpang district, Bhutan. One hostage was released approximately four hours after the abduction while the fate of the remaining victims is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Songjibit faction of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB).
