08/11/2014: Approximately 50 assailants attacked a temporary military patrol base in Gupitan village, Kapalong town, Davao del Norte province, Philippines. A soldier was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the New People's Army (NPA).
