Incident Summary:

08/12/2014: Assailants attacked residential areas in a village in Golaghat district, Assam state, India. This was one of five attacks on villages in Golaghat on this date. There were no reports of casualties across the attacks, but 70 houses were burned down and over 6,000 people were left homeless. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM).
