08/14/2014: Assailants abducted five International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) workers in Adraskan district, Herat province, Afghanistan. The workers were released on August 20, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the Taliban was involved in the abduction.
