08/25/2014: Assailants attacked residents and buildings with firearms and explosives in Gamboru town, Borno state, Nigeria. The assailants gained control of the police station, military barracks, and a training center. At least 21 people were killed in the incident. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
