Incident Summary:

08/26/2014: Assailants stopped a vehicle containing seven Egyptian nationals in Sirte city, Sirte district, Libya. Four of the passengers, who were Christian, were then abducted while the other three passengers, who were Muslim, were allowed to leave. The fate of the remaining hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
