Incident Summary:

08/31/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a military checkpoint in Gol al-Rayda district, Shabwah governorate, Yemen. In addition to the suicide bomber, three soldiers were killed and 10 others were injured in the blast. This was one of three coordinated attacks on military targets in Shabwah governorate on August 31, 2014. Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) claimed responsibility for the incident.
