08/31/2014: Assailants opened fire on a military post in Azzan village, Shabwah governorate, Yemen. Two soldiers were killed and five others were injured in the attack. This was one of three coordinated attacks on military targets in Shabwah governorate on August 31, 2014. Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) claimed responsibility for the incident.
