09/01/2014: An explosive device detonated targeting volunteer fighters in Buhayrat area, Iskandariyah region, Babil governorate, Iraq. At least one volunteer was killed and two volunteers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
