Incident Summary:

09/08/2014: Assailants kidnapped two Tunisian journalists in Ajdabiya, Wahat, Libya. This was the second time that these journalists had been kidnapped in September. The journalists were killed and their bodies were discovered on or before September 25, 2018. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that the journalists were targeted because they worked for a television station that was anti-Islamic.
