09/09/2014: Assailants attacked an Al-Saiqa checkpoint in Benghazi city, Benghazi district, Libya. Five soldiers were killed and seven others were wounded in the attack; additionally, 25 soldiers were abducted. Their whereabouts remain unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries.
