09/13/2014: Assailants opened fire on civilians at a market in Ngom village, Borno state, Nigeria. In addition to 24 assailants, at least 17 people were killed and 16 others were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
