09/17/2014: Assailants abducted Kamal al-Hujeiri from the private residence of his relatives near Arsal town, Beqaa governorate, Lebanon. Al-Hujeiri, a Lebanese Army first adjutant, was released on September 30, 2014. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
