Incident Summary:

09/17/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near an Iraqi Armed Forces and Iraqi Police Service (IPS) building in Tarmiyah town, Saladin governorate, Iraq. In addition to the bomber, at least eight people, including five soldiers and three police officers, were killed and 16 others were injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
