Incident Summary:

09/22/2014: Assailants opened fire on the residence of General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar in Haddah area, Sanaa city, Amanat Al Asimah governorate, Yemen. Al-Ahmar, a presidential defense adviser, was unharmed; however, several of his guards were wounded in the attack. This was one of two similar attacks carried out by Huthis in Sanaa city on September 22, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Huthis.
