10/08/2014: Assailants abducted Toufic Wehbeh from Arsal town, Beqaa governorate, Lebanon. Wehbeh, a Makhoul Company employee, was released on October 14, 2014 following a ransom payment. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the kidnapping to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
