10/09/2014: A suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle detonated near a military checkpoint in Mukalla city, Hadramawt governorate, Yemen. In addition to the assailant, 20 soldiers were killed and 15 others were injured in the blast. Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) claimed responsibility for the incident.
