Incident Summary:
10/26/2014: Assailants attacked several police check posts in Warduj district, Badakhshan province, Afghanistan. At least four police officers were killed and seven others were wounded. Additionally, 17 officers were abducted in the attack. Five of the kidnapped officers were rescued on November 25, 2014; the remaining hostages were released on December 6, 2014. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
