11/01/2014: Assailants attacked a security checkpost in Orakzai district, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. Twenty assailants and eight soldiers were killed in the ensuing clash, while 11 assailants and five soldiers were wounded. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Islam (Pakistan).
