11/04/2014: Assailants fired two rockets at a government compound in Shindand district, Herat province, Afghanistan. Three police officers were wounded in the ensuing clash; in addition, several assailants were killed or wounded. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
