11/22/2014: Assailants opened fire on Elder Yusuf Akpu in Aluaza village, Nasarawa state, Nigeria. Akpu, a community leader, was killed and an unknown number of women were abducted in the assault. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspect that Fulani militants were behind the attack.
