11/27/2014: Assailants attempted to raid Gubio and Kareto villages, Borno state, Nigeria. Civilians identified and intercepted the attackers before they could reach the villages. At least 30 assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
