Incident Summary:

12/00/2014: Sometime between December 14, 2014 and December 21, 2014, assailants kidnapped 44 tribal civilians in Arhab district, Sanaa, Yemen. The outcome of the kidnapping remains unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the abduction to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah) and stated that the victims were suspected of belonging to Al-Qa ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), which the tribe denied.
