Incident Summary:

12/22/2014: Assailants attacked residents and buildings with firearms and explosive devices in Geidam town, Yobe state, Nigeria. At least five people were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the assault. In addition, an unknown number of inmates escaped from the prison. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
