Incident Summary:

12/28/2014: Suicide bombers driving an explosives-laden vehicle detonated near Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) members in Kobani city, Aleppo governorate, Syria. At least eight people, including two PYD members and 6 assailants, were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
