Incident Summary:

01/07/2015: Assailants opened fire on residents in Mussa village, Borno state, Nigeria. At least 20 people were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the assault. Additionally, an unknown number of buildings were damaged and material goods were stolen during the incident. This was one of two coordinated attacks carried out by the same group in Askira Uba district on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to Boko Haram.
