Incident Summary:

01/09/2015: Assailants attacked residents and buildings with firearms and explosive devices in Damaturu city, Yobe state, Nigeria. An unknown number of civilians and assailants were killed and at least five soldiers were injured in the incident. Additionally, a number of buildings, including a mosque, multiple police stations, and several shops, were set on fire during the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Boko Haram.
