01/28/2015: Assailants attacked the shrine of Sufyan bin Abdullah, a Muslim scholar, in Lahij city, Lahij governorate, Yemen. There were no reports of casualties in the attack, but the shrine was destroyed. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
