Incident Summary:

02/01/2015: Assailants opened fire on soldiers outside of the presidential palace in Maseru city, Maseru district, Lesotho. A private security guard was killed and two soldiers serving as guards for the president were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to rebels trying to disrupt the election process.
