02/17/2015: Assailants opened fire on a Myanmar Red Cross Society convoy 50 kilometers south of Laukai city, Shan state, Myanmar. An aid worker was killed and a driver was wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the National Democratic Alliance Army (NDAA-ESSA), who denied involvement.
