02/28/2015: An explosive device detonated near a National Uprising Movement (NUM) checkpost in Gurziwan district, Faryab province, Afghanistan. Five relatives of militia members were killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to the Taliban.
