03/02/2015: Assailants opened fire on Badr Eid in Kouikhat village, North governorate, Lebanon. Eid, the brother of the founder of the Arab Democratic Party (ADP), was killed in the attack. The Kouweikhat Group claimed responsibility for the incident and demanded that Badr Eid, whose family had posted pictures supporting President Bashar Assad, leave Akkar district.
