Incident Summary:

03/10/2015: Assailants opened fire on a police vehicle at the Panda Reserve Forest near Rongara, Meghalaya state, India. Four police officers were killed and two others were injured in the attack; in addition, an explosive device was discovered following the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Garo National Liberation Army and the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA).
