04/01/2015: Assailants fired rockets that landed near a United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) base and detonated in Ansongo town, Gao region, Mali. At least one civilian was killed and two peacekeepers were wounded in the blasts. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO).
