Incident Summary:

04/08/2015: An assailant identified as an Afghan soldier opened fire on North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) soldiers from the United States at the compound of the provincial governor in Jalalabad city, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan. At least two people, one soldier from the United States and the assailant, were killed and eight others were injured in the ensuing clash. Hizb-I-Islami claimed responsibility for the attack.
