Incident Summary:
04/12/2015: An explosive device detonated outside Saint Joseph Church in Zagazig town, Al Sharqia governorate, Egypt. This was one of two attacks on churches in Zagazig town on this day. No casualties were reported in the attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
