04/24/2015: Assailants attacked Afghan Local Police (ALP) checkposts in Kunar province, Afghanistan. This was one of 12 attacks in Kunar on this date. At least four assailants were killed, and eight assailants and seven others, including police officers, soldiers, and civilians, were injured across the coordinated attacks. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incidents.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
